As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll support Lead Teachers with classroom activities, daily routines, and developmental milestones. You’ll help create engaging lessons, maintain safety and organization, and ensure every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with lesson implementation and daily schedules - Supervise and interact with children to promote growth and learning
- Maintain classroom organization, sanitation, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with families and coworkers
- Ensure compliance with Alabama DHR licensing standards

High school diploma or GED (CDA or ECE coursework preferred) - Experience in a licensed childcare setting a plus
- Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about early education
- Meets all state health and training requirements
