Position: Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Education
Age group: 18-24 Months
Salary: $11.00 - $16.00 / hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday

The Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the development of children from birth to age three. You’ll provide individualized care, implement age-appropriate activities, and foster a safe, loving environment that encourages exploration and early learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that support social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Maintain classroom safety, sanitation, and organization in accordance with Alabama DHR licensing standards
- Observe, document, and communicate each child’s developmental progress
- Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and conferences
- Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a cohesive and positive school culture
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of infant and toddler development
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Dependable, patient, and passionate about nurturing young children
